Authorities have located the suspected vehicle that killed a 63-year-old Casselberry man who was walking his dog, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The silver Audi SUV suspected in the Wednesday night crash was located by Casselberry Police about a mile from where the incident occurred on Eagle Circle and Shadow Oak Drive, FHP said.

Witness told troopers they saw the suspect vehicle traveling westbound when it hit the man crossing Eagle Circle. The man was pronounced dead on scene. The dog was not injured, according to a report from FOX 35 Orlando.

FHP said the SUV has been taken into evidence, and the vehicle looks to have been damaged by fire, so the State Fire Marshal is looking to see if arson is involved.

Troopers are still trying to determine who was driving the vehicle at the time of the crash, which remains under investigation.
