Charming dwarf shrub, compact and dense. Melliferous, robust and hardy plant. Small, rounded, dark green evergreen foliage with grey underside, mostly thornless. Sporadic orange-yellow flowering in April-May. Good rockery plant, border plant or in container. Synonym: Berberis microphylla 'Pygmaea'.
