Read detailed description :

A superb little tree or large shrub with star-shaped white flowers, opening to 10cm in diameter, at the end of March, early April, on subjects of more than 10 years old. Conical form young, becoming rounded in age, with spreading branches. Very rustic, an excellent plant in a row or for offering shade. Tolerates different types of soil, even chalky. Produces rather strange looking fruit, resembling lumpy sausages, due to more or less contorted seeds. Appreciates a deep soil and watering in dry weather.
