Cotoneaster horizontalis 'Variegata', a cream-edged variegated foliage cultivar of a wide-spreading prostrate groundcover deciduous shrub native to western China. It bears pink-flushed white flowers in spring and deep orange to red fruit from late summer until well into winter 'Variegata' often fruits poorly and is best considered a foliage plant with the bonus of fruit in a good year.
