Omiš Riviera consists of many beautiful and decorated beaches and bays surrounded by pure sea. This area is well known for long sandy beaches, located mostly between Omiš and Dugi Rat, but here you can find numerous rocky and pebble beaches as well. There is something for everybody. There are many beaches for those people who want to have fun, and if you want some privacy with your family, you can find some of many hidden bays.

Velika plaza or the The Big Beach is more than 700 meters long sandy beach and it is located in the town of Omiš. This beach is especially suitable for family with children because it is very shallow and safe. The beach is surrounded with pine and tamarisk trees that provide enough shadow. It is filled with restaurants and café bars and offers different activities like windsurfing, pedal boats or gondolas. You can also have fun by playing volleyball or picigin.

Another popular Omiš beach is definitely Stanici beach. This beach is really beautiful and it is partly sandy and partly pebbly with shallow water which makes it ideal for family with kids. This is right place for relaxation from speedy way of life – it is really peaceful and quiet, and far away from town noises. Similar to Stanici beach are beaches in Ruskamen, where you can go by bus.

One of the most popular and known beaches is located near small place Duce. This place is mainly focused on tourism.  The beach is about 4 km long and it is beautiful, surrounded by pines and tamarisk. You will really enjoy this beach. It is a great place for lying in the sun or relaxing in the shade of pines and tamarisk trees.

In the center of Omiš Riviera you'll find Medici beach. It is rather small beach, but also very quiet. Medici beach is also ideal for those who seek peace and relaxation. Place is also filled with several good restaurants where you can try the local food. It is surrounded by olive plantations and vineyards and offers true Mediterranean and unforgettable experience.
