Objectives:

1. Meeting with Coromandel retail for Impression as discussed with Mr. Harsha
2. Understanding the Paddy Blasticides market opportunity for increasing the market share
3. Herbicide opportunity for Rabi Crop

Market Visited:
Shahpur: - Sagar (1),Shorapur (2),Hunagi(2)
Raichur:- Sirwar(2) & Jagd (1)

Crop Scenario:
 Paddy crop is at different stages (70-80 DAT) & Early around 20-30 Days in Raichur area.
 Chiili at 30 to 40 DAT/DAS.
 Cotton in Raichur is around 80-90 DAS
 Paddy Major verities are Sona Masoorry,RNR ,MTU 1010.
 Cotton sucking pest was more as compare to last year.
 Paddy sowing was delayed due to non rain in July & Aug.
 Few farmers had transplanted nursery of 45- 50 days old as well.
 Right time for Impression in Raichur & Merger for Shahpur.
 Thifluzamide at Very initial stage in this belt
 Chaffy grain & grin discoloration was observed in Shapur area.
 Leaf Blast was observed in both the Places.

Market Scenario:
 Due to late rain few area of this territory might not have rabi paddy.
 Big market for Pre emergence herbicide like Eros & Londex power market & Bispyribac Sodium
has also started .
 Pexalon acceptance is very good among farmers,Few market artificial stock out situation was
created by Corteva.
 Imida is in decreasing trend.
 Crystal has started co marketing of Londex Power in the name of Bntila

Product feedback from Farmers and Trade:


1. Impression positioning is very well accepted by farmer for controlling both the disease in market
as Sheath blight is not the major disease.
2. Good Rabi paddy will be there in this area.
3. Minimum 2 round of Blasticides spray in this belt.
4. 180 Kg Zechor was liquidated in Paddy along with Pretilachlor
5. Merger is big Brand in this market.
6. Token + Pymetozine has given good knockdown & team is promoting the same.
7. Corteva has started farmer registration & Paddy schedule promotion thru cash back offer by
deploying the special kiosk at few market place.Offering 110/- per cash back if farmer purchase
1 acre Pexalon & I acre G. Sensa.
Recommendations/Action plan:
1. Needs to explore the Chilli area where farmers are using G.Sensa for Impression.
2. Needs to work with few export companies of chilli to include our product in their recommended
schedule.
3. Big opportunity for Nutrition product in Chilli.
4. Needs to explore the Killog + Pretil in Rabi Paddy
5. Needs to design the market development campaign for grabbing the opportunity for Impression
& Merger.
6. Team is fully aligned for Oct month plan number for Merger & Impression.

Me, Mr. Harsha & Mr. Naidu Met with Mr. Ramireddy for Impression & Iglare from Coromandel's
( category manager ) The retail arm of Coromandel outlets located in Andhra Pradesh business
expanded to over 800 retail centers in rural Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Coromandel's retail
centers are located at Mandal level.

Mr. Ramireddy expressed his willingness and interest for Impression. he will place the product 1 cs ( 8
kg ) per counter (mgc) at 50 selected paddy counters of Nalgonda/suryapeta/Jadcherla /Karimnagar for
Kharif & After observing the product performance in this season, Mr. Harsha will share the commercials
over mail for PO.
