They’re the new faces of the Spring 2010 MAC Viva Glam campaign. They are two unmistakable faces, two unmistakable voices and two unmistakable superstars. They are Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper. The two loud and proud dames lived in a parallel universe, both making lasting impressions in music, performance, fashion, style and beauty, and this year they come together to support men, women and children living with HIV and AIDS.
Last night I watched the video footage from the international press launch in London earlier this month. Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper were interviewed by the fabulous Sharon Osbourne and you can check out the video online. I loved Lady Gaga’s message regarding safe sex… she says “wrap it up” and says women should be strong enough to insist on safe sex.

MAC VIVA GLAM have introduced two new, limited edition shades of lipstick which will be available for 12 months at all MAC counters. The shades are autographed by Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper. Lady Gaga’s shade is a blue pink lustre, while Cyndi Lauper’s shade is a light reddish coral, both of which are fabulous and support a good cause.
