Nina Dobrev may have risen to fame with starring roles in some of television's most beloved teen dramas, including Degrassi and The Vampire Diaries, but her first job definitely wasn't quite as glamorous or maybe even as fun.

Many viewers have likely come to recognize the Dog Days star for her work in television and film, but as Nina revealed to Teen Vogue, she got her start in the newspaper industry, sort of. After spending some late nights helping her brother roll newspapers for his paper route, she got her first audition, and was required to do a pretty surprising, but fun scene in order to secure her Degrassi role. Let's just say that the audition may have required Nina to bring a little cheer and maybe even some pep.

Memorable childhood jobs aren't the only surprising part about Nina's past though. The upcoming star of the new CBS comedy "Fam" shared even more of memorable firsts with Teen Vogue. From the first time she experienced heartbreak to the adorable accident that led to her first kiss, Nina opened up about many of the moments that have shaped her life. As you'll see in the video below, the star may have left many of her past roles behind, but the memories she made on Vampire Diaries, Degrassi, and even during Halloween as a child have continued to stick with her.
