Linda Evangelista has suggested that she is "not interested" in dating at the moment, with her having revealed that she hasn't dated anyone for a number of years now.

The model, 58 - who rose to fame in the industry more than three decades ago - has previously been in relationships with high-profile individuals such as actor Kyle MacLachlan, now 64, and former soccer player Fabien Barthez, now 52.

It's now been suggested that Linda - who featured in the Apple TV+ docuseries the Super Models, that came out in September - isn't interested in dating again. She discussed her life and career in an interview published on Sunday.

Linda spoke about her personal life in an interview with the Sunday Times. The model told the UK-based outlet that she is "not interested" in dating. She said "I don't want to sleep with anybody anymore. I don't want to hear somebody breathing."

She added during the interview that the last time she dated was "definitely before the CoolSculpting". The comment references the fat-freezing cosmetic procedure that Linda is said to have undergone around eight years ago. She previously claimed she had been left "brutally disfigured" following the procedure.

Linda claimed the treatment ended up increasing, rather than decreasing, her fat cells, and it was suggested she had been left with lumps all over her body. The model said it left her "permanently deformed" even after reportedly having "unsuccessful" corrective surgeries.

Linda told British Vogue last year: "Am I cured mentally? Absolutely not." Linda suggested that fans shouldn't expect to see her in a swimsuit now and the model added that she may need photos to be retouched due to "protruding".

She had announced in 2021 that she was filing a lawsuit against the procedure's parent company Zeltiq Aesthetic Inc. It was reported that Linda was seeking $50 million in damages, claiming that she had been unable to work.

The lawsuit is understood to have been settled last year and Linda said at the time she was "pleased" to have settled the case and looked forward to her "next chapter". Linda also said she was "happy to put this matter behind [her]."

A representative for Zeltiq said in a statement published by British Vogue last year: "We are pleased to have resolved this matter with Ms Evangelista." They added: "Our focus continues to be on empowering confidence by providing safe, reliable aesthetics products and services backed by science. CoolSculpting is an FDA-cleared, non-invasive treatment for visible fat bulges in nine areas of the body."
