Change Checker's latest scarcity index takes a look at the rarest coins in circulation from the past three months - and shows which coins are in demand.
Some of the hardest to find coins can be worth far more than their face value, so it's worth keeping track of which of the rarest score high bids on sites like eBay too.
We've had a look around online to see how much each of the rarest designs are selling for - but be aware because the rarest coins won't always make you richer.
Now might be a good time to check the change in your purse because you might be the owner of one of the rarest 50p coins without even knowing it.
Kew Gardens, up to £253

The Kew Gardens 50p tops the scarcity index list of the coins currently in circulation - with a mintage (the number of coins issued) of just 210,000, it is the rarest coin and is the most in demand.
This rare commemorative coin was created in 2009 to celebrate the 250th anniversary of London’s Kew Gardens.
One recently sold on eBay for £253 after bidders locked horns in a tussle to bag it.
Triathlon, up to £21

This Triathlon 50p piece shows athletes doing the three sports which form the race - swimming, cycling and running.
Around 1,163,500 were put into circulation in 2011.
We spotted one which went for £21.05 on eBay.
Wrestling - up to £13.50

There were nearly 1.13million of these coins made in 2011 - once again, it was made to commemorate the 2012 Olympics.
It shows two athletes wrestling, and one is being thrown to the ground.
We saw it being flogged on eBay for £13.50.
Football, up to £20

This 50p shows the football offside rule stamped on one side of the coin.
It's another 2012 Olympics 50p - and can go for much more than its face value.
This one went for £20 on eBay recently.
Judo, up to £16

Over 1.16 million of these Judo coins were put into circulation in 2011 to celebrate the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The coin shows two opponents fighting, as one is being thrown to the floor.
We saw one being sold for £16 on eBay recently.
Tennis, up to £7

A tennis ball is flying over the net in this Olympics 20p.
A total of 1,454,000 Tennis 50p coins were put into circulation, according to Change Checker.
It doesn't go for as much as some of the other Olympic 50ps - we saw it being flogged for £6.50 on eBay recently.
