This is Tamiya's British Mark IV Tank Male. This is based on the Glamorgan G Batallion from the Battle of Cambrai in 1917. Cambrai was an importants supply center for the Germans and the British were trying to use tanks in large numbers to overwhelm the German infantry. It did not go as planned. Cool story if want some short history in early tank warfare.

The Tamiya kit comes with a motor as well if you want this model to move around; quite interesting. It is a very simple build but did mainly for all the detailing you can try on the model. I had just seen someone else finishing a model like this and wanted to try it out.

I used Tamiya paints, Mig and AK pigments and washes. The barbwire is an Eduard photo-etched product. The water was made with arcylic and epoxy waters. I really wanted you to see the boot and roots in the one side crater with water but put too much pigment in the epoxy -- just know it's there. The figures are from Black Dog.

I learned a lot on this one. I am getting better but still room for improvement. If you have any question please feel free to ask. Thanks for looking.
