Description

Taxus baccata Fastigiata Aurea is an upright, Irish Yew with dark-green, needle-like leaves that are golden-yellow tipped providing a striking golden hue to nay space. Its compact, upright habit makes it perfect as a feature tree or as part of a lined avenue or screening. This Yew typically has red berry fruits in autumn and provides shelter, a nesting site and food for a variety of birds. These Yews can reach up to 5m high by 1.5m wide once mature. Yew are hardy and will tolerate most conditions but don't do well in waterlogged soils so make sure to plant in a well-drained position.
