Acer platanoides 'Fairview' Acer platanoides 'Fairview'

Aceraceae

Acer platanoides 'Fairview' Acer platanoides 'Fairview'

This cultivar is an American selection that resembles the cultivars 'Schwedleri' and 'Deborah'. The upright oval crown, however, remains narrower and grows more upright than 'Schwedleri' and 'Deborah'. 'Fairview' can reach a height of circa 15 m. The leaf sprouts reddish purple, but turns bronze-green later in the season. The flowering is of the species. It is a good avenue and street tree. 'Fairview' demands little from the soil, but does not tolerate stagnating groundwater. The tree is good wind resistant. Winter hardiness zone: 4.
Our trees can only be planted when they don't have any leaves. Due to the this we will start delivering again from November 2024.
