Juglans regia 'Broadview' is slower growing than the species and remains smaller. Height approx. 15 - 20 m. Suitable for smaller gardens. The shape of the crown, the trunk, the branches and leaves are identical to those of the species. After the emergence of the leaves the male and female flowers appear. They do not appear simultaneously. For this reason it is recommended that another cultivar, e.g. 'Buccaneer', should be planted close by to act as a pollinator. However fructification can be apomictic whereby solitary trees can also produce a reasonable quantity of fruit. Winter hardiness zone: 5b
Our trees can only be planted when they don't have any leaves. Due to the this we will start delivering again from November 2024.
