the ugliest design for the back of the camera that has ever been made, I certainly respect the choice, but compared to any other brand of phone, this looks more like a children's toy from 10 years ago, they need a redesign urgently, this one is a shame to take out of the pocket and that goes for everyone pixel phones

It's 2024 and yet Google pixel phones does not support 5g in Africa ..so if you are in Africa buy at your own risk

Anonymous, 19 May 2024Xperia 5v 256gb now available under €600. Why bother with pixel?Because Pixel phones has more Google features than Xperia. I have a old Xperia 1 III in the shelf. And, there is no single AI features built in...additionally, Google phone's software is up to date. Whereas Xperia....I did not received a single software update even after 3 years. That's the reason why I changed to Huawei phone after the return of the Kirin chips. Because Huawei supports 7 years old of HarmonyOS update to their flagship phones.

For Pixel 8a GrapheneOS prerelease is available, that's why.

But then later I searched in Playstore and was able to install Gemini Assistant. It replaced the standard Google Assistant. Maybe its being rolled out to 8a gradually?
