Bought p12 pro to try, also own Samsung tab S7+. Great hardware, poor software. Stock Android works for phones, bad for tablets. Many QoL things make Samsung user experience better. Barely any support for Lenovo, so if you have an issue, you're figuring it out yourself. The "task bar" can't be hidden, if navigation buttons enabled, but can be if gesture mode enabled. Which some apps don't recognize, basically causing an overlay which can block inputs at bottom. Large grey bar at bottom of screen, can't change the color. Other apps I use are misbehaving that have no issues on Samsung. Standby battery superior, battery drains faster at max brightness over Samsung, about even drain at middle brightness.

However, the only real pro. It performs better on retro game emulators. Using Aethersx2 (PS2), I can increase resolution, and even "speed up" the game with no hiccups to skip segments faster, where the Samsung will chug. But there's a catch, playing games off SD card causes games to randomly "stutter". Not exclusive to this tablet, I've seen others comment the Lenovo Legion device also stutters games off SD card. Why does it do this? Who knows. I use a Samsung Evo Plus. However, no issues when played off internal memory. SD card transfer speeds are a bit faster too.

Pricing? Sure, Lenovo could be acquired cheaper, maybe? Depends where you live. For me, I only purchase Samsung Tabs second hand, full price OP. So both were similar price in that context. Want a tablet for Streaming, Emulation mainly? Lenovo is great. Want a tablet for productivity, superior ecosystem, and large community support? Go Samsung. Lenovo isn't bad, but it just doesn't replace a Samsung, unless acquired for cheap.

Display, 07 Jun 2022A shame that the display aint up the Xiaoxin P11Pro2021 sta... moreActually the 870 can handle 120 hz no problem and that refresh right is not only just for gaming if you use the pen and plan to draw or take notes that refresh makes those actions alot smoother

I bought this at Best Buy in Canada on sale for $599 CAD in early July 2023. It was great while it lasted. Good sound, excellent display. It felt a little too long for its height but I got used to it. I even bought an aftermarket folio for it. The numbnutz at BestBuy said it was the latest and it superseded the P11 Pro (not so).
The downsides were (yes, past tense... but I'll get to that.)
1/ no 3.5mm jack but they did include a dongle for it that worked fine
2/ I couldn't get it to shut up... dinging all the time whenever it happened to get a notification even when it was supposed to be asleep.
3/ If it is asleep, it wakes with the tiniest of movement.
            4/ Lenovo discontinued the model
5/ It is a slippery beast (foreshadowing)
6/ limited to no replacement parts (buy the Lenovo accident replacement coverage)

            The positives:
            1/ great battery life
            2/ great vibrant display
            3/ large screen
4/ still fits in a MS Surface pouch

Unfortunately, when using it, it took a tumble and the screen broke. It is now non-functioning. A replacement OLED screen is not available aftermarket without paying $500 so I may as well buy a new tablet.

WhySoSeri0us, 10 Feb 2022No HDMI in for extern display? There's no HDMI in, or any official way of using the tablet as a wired monitor (a missed opportunity imo), but you can get that functionality for 15 USD iirc, through an app called Super Display, and you can also use it as a wireless monitor officially, but only with a Miravision certified Windows machine

Anonymous, 26 Feb 2022There's no tab version of sd888Nor is there one for the 870. In fact, you don't need to use a tablet specific chipset, as phones and tablets – on Android at least – run the very same apps, the very same Operating Systems, and the 870 and 888 are very well capable of handling 1600x2560 @ 120Hz, without tablet specific variants.

A shame that the display aint up the Xiaoxin P11Pro2021 standard.
Great 1600p RGB OLED display in that unit with the ideal 90hz framerate, that IMO is a sweatspiot for gaming, as 120hz is a task too much for the SD870, and 90hz is preferred for battery.
If I have the chance on a 120hz unit to choose 90hz I often chose that as I find it a aweatspot if I don't have dynamic hz.
and are the P12pro 1600p AMOLED E5 display even DC dimmed as the OLED Xiaoxin P11pro2021 is?.
also worth noticing the Xiaoxin P11pro2021 (Lenovo) is brighter then the P12pro-.
P11Pro2021 is delivering 625 nits on sliders and 875nits on sunburst.
