I had China model and today I received Hyper Os 1030, before I had 1020 and is a major improvement in camera especially zoom,before was a mess,now is much better

When I double click on the screen or push power button to light up the screen, sometimes (like 1 out of 4-5 times) it has something like a delay or lag - screen lights up only after second or two.
I have turned off MIUI battery optimization in developer settings, but I dont think this occured such problem because it started way after turning off MIUI optimization.
Any suggestions?

Lasith555, 21 Apr 2024After watching 2 hrs of youtube on 4G, battery draining 25%... moreYes that's normal for this phone, my previous Xiaomi phones drains 1% in 7-8 minutes of YouTube while this phone time is 6 minute for 1% drain, so overall 22%~25% drain would happen in two hours, which is normal, you can say that you have not received the defective piece.

One more issue I observed in my handset, When I connect my Bluetooth earbuds with this phone and take any regular sim network call then after some duration the voice of the other person gets distorted, like some turbulence, can think like the sound radio produces when frequency is not matching. Then I switch to speaker or earpiece mode then again switch back to Bluetooth mode for the call, problem gets rectified for a minute or so then again same problem arises in a minute or two then again I do same, anyone has any idea about this problem?

I've bought the indian version worked well on MIUI but when Chinese version of HyperOS was released for this model I installed it by unlocking phone. Chinese version of HyperOS was consuming less battery than original MIU which was installed on the phone.
But when global version of HyperOS was released I've unlocked phone again and installed it. Not gonna lie, I'm not satisfied with it, because it drains battery 3-4 times faster than Chinese version of HyperOS.. very soon I will again install the Chinese version

Lasith555, 23 Apr 2024Videos played on 360p and brightness is on the medium level.It's definitely on the higher side, it shouldn't drop more than 15 to 20% in 2 hours. But nevertheless you can try these steps to reduce battery drain:
Close unnecessary background apps and also keep Whatsapp only in the apps' background auto start section, you can google it how to do this and it's easy.
Delete the apps which you don't use and are in the phone for a long time now.
Turn off Bluetooth, data connection and wifi when not in use.
** If nothing works then you need to calibrate the phone battery, you can google it how to do it and it's the most effective method and it works.
I would highly recommend to calibrate your device battery, it helps in 90% of the cases surely.
