ddss, 05 Sep 2022ehmm, no one actually put phones in water Actually i was using Huawei P30 Pro untill recent and used to actually wash it with hand soap... So yes, some of us put the phone in water.

Got the 80W / 12GB / 256 GB
If you're buying this phone:
-it's pretty fast, been playing genshin impact for several hours on high settings
-camera's good, 35mm standard lens camera has a good amount of zoom/bokeh balance. Even the ultrawide is great!
-They also have this "VLOG" camera mode that I thought was exclusive to Xiaomi/POCO
-If you're familiar with redmagic phones, it has a GameSpace mode. But unlike redmagic phones, you can only change the performance settings based on priority, like GPU turbo, CPU turbo or both. It doesn't have the more advanced settings (i.e. Macro, on screen crosshair,), nor the ability to show the GPU/CPU usage
-if you'll use this for productivity, it's not seen as a "rooted" phone by Company Assistant/Outlook/Teams, unlike my old redmagic phone
Annoying things:
-the Z-Assistant AI quite is quite annoying. I know it's for security, but yeah if you've just installed an app (let's say FB messenger) it will send you a notif that it's on the background and consuming power etc
-Some apps will not run because Z-Assistant is running, unless you do a manual control on the permission settings. Some will definitely not run at all (like Youtube Vanced) even if you allow everything.
-There's a dedicated Nubia security keyboard for passwords (i.e. login passwords, wifi passwords etc). Doesnt have auto lowercase after the first letter. The shift key functions like a capslock.
-the 35mm lens is quite hard to use on close subjects. Also, sometimes the 1x zoom doesn't allow the us of camera flash. You can only turn on the flash after 1.4x zoom. This occurs on quite close subjects, like if you're taking pictures of your food on the table.
-Included case covers the back and the corners of the phone, but not the sides. Already have a bit of scratch on the frame near the power button as I accidentally put coins in my pocket with my phone. Buy a case if you're ordering this phone.
-the telephoto lens is just a gimmick tbh, I barely use the lens haha. It has 30X zoom but you can only use it if you have reaaaaaaaaaaally steady hands.
-no desktop mode unlike Lenovo Legion phones

We need waterproof or dust resistance because we just want to keep our phone safe sometimes.

Do you know what IP does it have? I found that chinese phones are really good, but the lack of water and dust resistance could be an issue for a long run phone with those specifications

This isn't the design of either Sony or Viva or Samsung, this is the design of the Nokia N8, N9, Lumie 920... ZTE copied the best design as well as Samsung Note, Vivo X series and other brands.
