The 25-year-old was quick to directly tweet Bellew after his 11th-round stoppage against the Hayemaker.

He tweeted Bellew, saying: "All goes well May 6, I'll fight you next at the 02 no problem."

Parker is not thinking too far ahead of himself as he defends his title against Tyson Fury's impressive cousin Hughie.

The 22-year-old is tipped to become a top heavyweight within the sport after getting a world-title shot at such a young age.

Fury will make the long journey to Aukland to challenge the world champion - which is the first time he has challenged for a belt abroad.

Fury's last victory over Fred Kassi saw him pick up the vacant WBO Inter-Continental heavyweight title.

But Parker's urge to fight in the UK, shows he is keen to face Bellew, with only four of his 22 professional fights happening in New Zealand.
