Found in the highlands of Ethiopia, these birds live in forests and shrublands. Foraging in flocks of up to eight birds, usually while hidden in vegetation, they feed on juniper berries and other fruits. They build thin cup-shaped nests from fine plant stems on small branches and vines, where females lay clutches of two eggs.
