January 24, 2023 - Black-browed Triller (Lalage atrovirens)

Found in New Guinea, these trillers live in and around forests, including mangroves, and gardens. They eat fruit and arthropods, foraging alone, in pairs, or in small flocks, sometimes with other species. Almost nothing is known about their breeding behavior, but a juvenile was observed in mid-June.
