The Last Perch Series (Extinct Birds)

Ula-'ai-hawane (Ciridops anna) was a remarkable bird species native to the Hawaiian Islands. This beautiful Hawaiian honeycreeper was once abundant but tragically became extinct in the early 20th century, primarily caused by habitat loss, introduced predators, and diseases exacerbated by human activities and the introduction of non-native species.

This original painting was created with professional acrylic paint on cotton rag watercolour board.

It is hand-signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Colours may vary slightly due to differences in monitor calibrations.

The frame can be included with this piece, or without.
Size – 19 x 24cm high (image area), 36.5 x 41.5cm high (frame size).

Shipped flat-packed and insured.
I have used archival, lightfast materials, so your artwork should last a lifetime, but please do not display it in direct sunlight.
It also has a gloss varnish which will protect the painting from some UV light and general wear and tear.
