COTINGA MACULADO (Cotinga maculata) Also known as cotinga franjeado or crejoá (in Brazil, it is a species of passeriform bird belonging to the genus Cotinga of the family Cotingidae. It is endemic to the Atlantic forest of southeastern Brazil. It has the back of blue cobalt blue; Dark purple bottoms with a cobalt blue collar on the chest and most of the upper wing and tail feathers, black. The female has a blackish brownish color with whitish scaling and has a white eye ring.
