Description

A deciduous azalea hybrid of the west coast native Rhododendron occidentale, this extremely fragrant and hardy plant is a great garden choice. The flowers, which bloom in late spring, are light pink with a vibrant golden yellow splotch on the upper petals. Autumn brings fiery color to the leaves. Best in full sun to light shade with average moisture in rich, well-drained soil. Typically from 5 to 8 feet.
