Setenil de las Bodegas is a town pueblo and municipality in the province of Cádiz, Spain, famous for its dwellings built into rock overhangs above the Río Guadalporcún. Cuevas de Sol and Cuevas de Sombra streets are parallel to each other on both sides of the Guadalporcún river. Both have great beauty due to their incrustation in the rocks. It is an exceptional example of a type of house called shelter under rocks which, unlike other semi-troglodytic constructions developed in Andalusia, does not excavate the rock, but merely closes the rock wall and develops the house longitudinally.
