An excellent, evergreen shrub, long favoured for its ability to make a first class hedge. Small, bright green/ yellow leaves with a broad, bright yellow margin, although some leaves are completely yellow. Responds well to clipping. Does produce small panicles of small, creamy white flowers, the smell of which some people don't like, which are followed by shiny black fruit. Only loses its leaves when the winter is really cold. |
