RIP sheet metal cone

Hi all,

I am having serious issues while trying to rip this cone. I have been able to rip all other parts from this file but the two cones on the end will not rip. I have also received the MSGUntitled 5.png 'rip interferes with internal boundary". Please help!!Untitled 2.pngUntitled 3.pngUntitled 4.pngUntitled.png

Hi! I have seen this kind of model before. It should work, based on the way you modeled. This may be a bug in Rip feature or the geometry is slightly off. Without seeing the part, it is hard to tell. Like John said, please attach the file here.

Instead of using Rip feature, you can also split the face and use Thicken cut to make an opening.

Many thanks!
